Peebles U11s vs Gala

Good all round performance today from the whole team in a very evenly played out game. Peebles started on the back foot with Gala making the early progress in attack, however some very good defensive play kept the score blank. Peebles then started to apply some pressure and eventually the opening goal came after the goalie had blocked a shot Hayes followed up and scored from the rebound. A second goal was soon to follow after some further pressure from Peebles, this time Leitham managed to sneak in a shot at the near post.

Peebles only had seven players in todays squad with a very late call off due to an injury picked up the previous night at training.

Peebles U11 vs Lauder (away) - 2.4.11

After a couple of low scoring and close games vs Hawick and Leithen Vale, Peebles finally hit the goal trail in this match away to Lauder. Peebles started strongly and it was not long before they opened the scoring with some opportunist forward play from Hayes who nicked the ball off the defender and scored in the bottom corner.
