Season 2010/11 about to Kick Off

Peebles Rovers kick off the new season with an away game against Leith Athletic on Saturday 14 August (2:30pm) in the East of Scotland First Division. The Reserves start a week later with a home fixture against Lauder on Saturday 21 August (2:30pm). Recent comments

Peebles Under 16's
Being one of the first Peebles teams to re-commence training and with a new look squad, the newly reformed under 16's have started well both in training and through their pre season matches, against Lochar Thistle of Dumfries, Beeslack Thistle of Penicuik and Peebles U15’s.
Training takes place at the Gytes Leisure Centre, Peebles on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6.15pm where good numbers have allowed the team to work on specifics such as throw inn’s and free kicks along with improving their passing and control of the football.
The under 16's season kicks off in earnest with a home game on Sunday 15th August 2010, current Fixtures detailed below or for more information about the league, click on the link on the Youth tab of this website.
Sun 15th Aug - Home V Haddington Ath Colts - 2pm KO
Wed 18th Aug - Away V Beeslack Thistle - 6.45pm KO
At this point we’d also like to thank the parents of the boys who have helped with transport and supported the team through these early stages, but would encourage as many as possible to come and support the team, especially on match days.
Training
With new manager Stuart on holiday it has been left to
head coach Kevin Martin to take training this week.
Comments from the lads have been very positive. Not
only enjoyable but very professional Well done to
Kevin and long may it continue
The lads have a bounce game tonight (Thursday) against
the reserve side and there final pre season game against
Dynamo Hibs on Saturday
